Aaron Hernandez was convicted of murder with premeditation Odin Lloyd. The verdict is in on Wednesday to former NFL player, who signed a $ 41 million over five years with the New England Patriots before being "liberated". Jurors Fall River, that caught the premeditation and extreme cruelty, took 36 hours over seven days to get to this unanimous verdict. The star, now aged 25, is convicted of shooting Lloyd, boyfriend of the sister of his fiancee, with a caliber Glock 45, the police never found . Prosecutors said Hernandez wanted to Odin by Lloyd for talking in a bar to people he did not like. The defense in his final statements recognized Hernandez was present at the murder but said he had not participated.
For first degree murder, Aaron Hernandez should be sentenced to a mandatory sentence of life imprisonment without possibility of parole. He will appear in another trial this year in Boston, where he is accused of having killed two men in front of a nightclub in July 2012.
